What Is Reverse Peel?
Reverse Peel is a non-invasive skin treatment that penetrates deep into the dermis to improve pigmentation, melasma, and skin texture without causing harsh irritation or downtime. Unlike traditional peels that focus on surface exfoliation, Reverse Peel stimulates collagen production and removes melanin buildup from within, promoting even skin tone and cellular renewal.
The treatment is an advanced version of the Massage Peel (PRX-T33), especially effective for stubborn pigmentation and chronic melasma – conditions that are often resistant to lasers or regular peels. With minimal downtime, it offers visible improvement in brightness, texture, and overall skin clarity, making it ideal for those seeking gentle yet targeted results.
How It Works
Reverse Peel is a three-step, targeted depigmentation treatment that works from the deep dermis layer to the surface of the skin. The procedure begins with Rsp1, a solution containing trichloroacetic acid (TCA), low-concentration hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), and kojic acid. This first step’s solution is gently massaged into the skin with each ingredient responsible for each benefit: TCA stimulates collagen production and accelerates cellular turnover; H₂O₂ controls inflammation, as well as works simultaneously to oxidize melanin and protect the skin, while kojic acid inhibits further melanin synthesis.
Next, Rsp2, a deep-penetrating blend of high-concentration lactic acid and phytic acid is applied only to pigmented areas. The blend works to dissolve melanin deposits in the deeper epidermis and binds with iron to suppress future pigment formation. The final step, Rsp3, delivers a potent mix of glycolic, mandelic, and salicylic acids, along with kojic acid and phytic acid, to exfoliate the skin surface and enhance overall clarity. To maintain results and prevent recurrence, WiQo Lightening Serum is recommended for daily post-care.
