What are Dental Veneers?

Porcelain Veneer - IPS Esthetics
IPS Empress Esthetic offers aesthetically outstanding porcelain veneer. It looks natural and it is also durable. Various powders are mixed with IPS Empress ingots to create life-like and natural looking veneer.
Porcelain Veneer - IPS eMax
This type of veneer has been known to offer natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing finish for dental veneer. It is made of cement material that delivers the ultimate in metal free aesthetics and strength. This type is recommended for difficult combination cases.
Super Thin Veneer
This contact-lens thin veneers are placed over teeth surfaces for color shades change and slight shape adjustments. In some cases, this type does not require tooth preparation.
Dental Veneers Procedure
1. First Evaluation and Veneer Tooth Preparation
· Administer local anaesthesia at veneer preparation region
· Reshape natural teeth to received veneer
· Take records of color, bite, lengths and shape of bridge
· Take impression as replica model of teeth and send to lab for fabrication
· Place a temporary veneer
2. Fitting of Veneer on delivery
· Fit permanent veneer and cement it into place upon removal of temporary veneer
· Check quality assurance for any adjustments or re-works
3. Care of bridge
· Brush and floss bridge as recommended by dentist
*The procedure for composite veneers happen on one time visit as it does not involve any laboratory work

· Avoid consuming hard foods for 24 hours after treatment
· Rinse mouth with warm salt water to ease discomfort or swelling
· Maintain tissue compatibility by keeping crown area clean
· If sensitivity occur, avoid hot, cold, acidic food or drinks
· Take pain medication as prescribed by dentist
· Brush and rinse teeth with fluoride and properly clean teeth
