What Is Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) And Body Ultrasound?
Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) and Whole Body Ultrasound are two comprehensive tests designed to help detect various health conditions including cancers, early on.
N-Nose is a non-invasive cancer screening test that uses the olfactory abilities of nematodes to detect cancer related compounds in urine. This test can identify cancers in multiple parts of the body, including oral, lung, breast, stomach, prostate, and many others. By regularly taking this test, individuals can reduce both psychological and physical burdens, as well as financial costs in the event of a cancer diagnosis. At our affiliated clinic, 15 types tests are included in the Cancer Screening Test.
Whole Body Ultrasound is a scan that evaluates your internal organs, blood vessels, and soft tissue structures. It helps diagnose problems such as cysts, infections, and tumors. This scan examines key areas like the thyroid, liver, kidneys, pancreas, bladder and reproductive organs, except breast ultrasound. The ultrasound can detect conditions like kidney stones, liver disease, gallstones, and may help in identifying warning signs of stroke. By providing a comprehensive report, it can help guide further actions for treatment or prevention.
Both tests work together to give a full picture of your health, identifying issues from early stages and providing you with detailed results as well as recommendations from the doctor.
How It Works
The N-Nose Test works by utilizing the natural abilities of nematodes (tiny worms). These worms are highly sensitive to certain compounds found in human urine, which are linked to cancer. When a urine sample is placed near the worms, they respond to the presence of these cancer related compounds by exhibiting certain behaviours, such as moving toward or away from the sample. The worm’s reaction will be monitored and analysed to assess the likelihood of cancer risk. This allows for the detection of various types of cancer without undergoing invasive procedures.
Meanwhile, Whole Body Ultrasound scan uses sound waves to create images of the internal organs, blood vessels, and soft tissue structures. A special gel is applied to the skin, and a small device called a transducer is moved over the body. This device sends out sound waves and captures the echoes as they bounce back from tissues. The images produced help doctors detect abnormalities, such as cysts, tumour, infections, and any other obstructions. It can also measure blood flow in arteries to detect blockages and evaluate organ health, providing a clear picture of the body’s internal state.
Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) And Body Ultrasound Procedure
Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose)
1. A urine sample will be provided by patients.
2. The urine sample will be introduced to where nematodes are present.
3. The worm’s reaction will be monitored and recorded.
4. Results will be reviewed by the doctor to determine if further testing is needed.
Body Ultrasound
1. A gel will be applied to the skin.
2. A transducer will be moved around the area being examined.
3. The images will be reviewed by the doctor and the report will be regenerated.
4. Follow up consultation will be scheduled by the doctor to discuss the results.

Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) And Body Ultrasound Preparation
Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) Preparation
· Fasting is required for at least 8 hours before the test

FAQ
Q1: Are Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) + Body Ultrasound painful?
A1: Both Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) + Body Ultrasound are non-invasive and painless.
Q2: How long does Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose) + Body Ultrasound take?

A4: No, Body Ultrasound uses sound waves that are safe for everyone.
Q5: If I did the Cancer Screening Test (N-Nose), do I still need to do a Body Ultrasound?
A5: Yes, because N-Nose does not show the physical condition of your organs. Ultrasound can detect issues like gallstones, kidney stones, aneurysms, or signs of infection that N-Nose would not be able to identify.
