What is Buccal Fat Removal?

Have you ever witnessed sagging jowls in the face of older people? That is what is said to be the buccal fat. Buccal fat is the deeper fatty tissue of the cheek and the mid-face. As you age, this excess fat starts sagging and creates jowls and deep marionette lines.

How It Works

Incision will be done inside the mouth. Using a 1.5cm long intraoral incision, the deep fat tissue will be removed, leaving no visible scar. Absorbable sutures are used for a faster recovery process.
